Flowers Gallery
The
Australian Flowers gallery contains an array of specimens, ranging
from the Kangaroo Paw, Anigozanthos Manglesii, that is the floral
emblem of Western Australia to the bottle brush, Callistemon, a
cylindrical red flower of the Myrtaceae family that is shaped similarly
to a traditional bottle brush.
You
will find a sample from most of the renowned family groups, such
as Grevillias Banksias and Dryandras along with samples of the delicate
Geraldton Wax and flowers from the well known Australian Eucalyptus,
or Gum Tree.
Also
here is a selection of unique Australian orchids, including the
donkey orchid and spider orchid.
